It doesn’t matter

It doesn’t matter now,
That inch you left,
Between me and you when,
I shut my eyes, waiting,
For an embrace then.
And it doesn’t matter now,
How hurt, I fell free,
From a hope so high,
Waiting to be saved,
In your arms alive.
It doesn’t matter now,
I took a leap of faith,
And plunged right away,
In your sea of love,
And was lost astray.
It doesn’t matter now,
How I wrote a hundred,
Words of love, for you
And you turned deaf,
Unheard my woes.
It doesn’t matter now,
You waved your hand,
Guiding me, a way out,
In the maze of mirrors.
Lost forever, I remained.
